Our Combined Naturopathic Medicine Follow-Up + Aesthetic Appointments are designed for patients who benefit from addressing internal health factors and in-clinic skin treatments within the same visit. These extended follow-up appointments allow your Naturopathic Doctor to review progress and provide ongoing clinical guidance, while also incorporating a topical or aesthetic skin treatment when appropriate.

For transparency and insurance clarity, these visits are billed as two components: an extended naturopathic medicine follow-up, which is eligible for coverage through most extended health care benefit plans, and a separate procedure fee that covers the materials and delivery of the topical aesthetic treatment. Insurance providers and the CRA classify cosmetic treatments as “not medically required,” which is why the procedure fee is not eligible for reimbursement. This structure allows you to receive integrated care while ensuring accurate billing and clear expectations around coverage.
